Thank you all so much for your encouragement and overwhelming support in my election to County Assessor.  It is an honor and a privilege to be chosen to serve the community that I truly care about and in which I was raised.  On behalf of my family and myself, thank you for all of your efforts and I look forward to serving you with dignity and respect as your County Assessor.

As a candidate for your County Assessor, there are several goals I would like to achieve. First, government must always be the humble servant to the public, never the master. It is my commitment to our community to provide excellent public service and education about the assessment process, as well as the benefits this Office provides to our citizens.

It is my intent to achieve that by implementing my plan as follows:

• Ensuring the integrity of the Assessor's Office is my number one priority.
• Providing prompt and courteous service to the public.
• Treating the public with dignity and respect.
• Customers calling the Assessor's Office will continue to have their calls answered by a person, not a computer.
• Advocating on behalf of taxpayers to protect them from escalating tax bills.
• Ensuring our hallmark customer service standards and personal service.
• Continuously improving processes for the public through the use of technology.
• Speaking to groups and organizations about Assessor services and programs for which they may qualify.
• Participating in Customer Service activities at shopping malls, the County Fair, senior housing complexes and other functions throughout the year to provide information on the Assessor's Office services.
• Soliciting public comment to maintain high quality service.
• Ensuring our legislators are fully aware of any adverse impact that proposed legislation has on our taxpayers.
